....about Jeffrey
I have been working in the Design Industry for my entire career of 20+ years. My primary training is architecture and what I feel this brings to my career is an understanding of how things go together and the many skills and people involved in accomplishing a goal.
Within the field of design I have studied and practiced architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, historic preservation, and sustainability. My work experience originated in custom remodel and additions primarily to older homes throughout Seattle neighborhoods. The work included new construction and design innovations mingled with preservation. Before leaving Seattle, I was afforded the opportunity to be involved with the Built Green Program, pursue extended education in sustainable building practices, and become a LEED accredited professional. My diverse work experience allowed me to transition into custom Interior Architecture and Design upon moving to Chicago. I recognize this as a turning point in my career because I began to delve further into the details of each project and not only design spaces but focus on the collaboration of trades assembled to pull together a project. I have worked extensively in Chicago, New York, and San Francisco with many talented people to execute what I feel are truly couture homes. |
